I'm rich! Sorta. All those galleons around the school Saturday, I figured they were leprechaun gold, but I snagged a bunch anyway. Most of them did disappear, but four didn't.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I am completely ready for spring to come. First day of spring is tomorrow, isn't it?

Getting sick is loads of not fun. I highly recommend against it.
However, now that I'm feeling like a human and not an inferi, who can fill me in on what I've missed these last couple of weeks?

I'm getting so tired of everyone hiding all the juicy stuff in that anonymous journal. So, Hogwartsians, I am proposing a game that is actually more fun if you're not wussing out with anonymity.
It's called Two Truths And A Lie, and it's really simple. You just write down three statements. Two of them are true, and one is a horrible horrible lie. Then everyone else gets to have fun guessing which statement is the lie. We all get to learn something new about our classmates, and it's not like you have to throw out your most embarrassing secrets or anything. Just try not to make it too obvious which one's the lie, that takes a good amount of the fun out of the whole game.
I'll even kick things off to show you all how it's done.
1. I can fit my entire fist into my mouth. 2. I can tie a cherry stem into a knot with my tongue. 3. I'm ambidextrous.

Ed and I haven't counted down to Christmas together in years, but we're both curled up in quilts in the sitting room, camped out in front of the tree, and neither of us can sleep. I think the last time we did this, we were seven and waiting up to see if Santa Claus really existed. We wanted to catch him red-handed. I think we fell asleep around three am, and there were presents piled under the tree when we woke up at seven. Stockings stuffed and everything.
I guess that's a benefit for my parents, that we don't believe in Santa anymore: they don't have to stay awake until we go to sleep just to sneak our presents from "Santa" under the tree.
Happy Christmas, everyone! Is anyone else still up and counting down to Christmas, or are you all just reading this in the morning?
